Kim Clement Coming to DFW
Nationally recognized prophetic musician Kim Clement will be in town for four days at three churches across the DFW Metroplex – from Carrollton to McKinney to Colleyville.
Read Kim’s latest prophecy over the city of Detroit.
If you’ve never witnessed Kim’s approach to the prophetic, it’s worth the trip. He’s an unusual fellow, combining an ’80s New York City jazz with spontaneous prophetic song. There’s nothing cookie cutter about him.
I find Kim’s ministry to be a challenge. His music style is not mine. At all. But he prophesies in a way that I am drawn to. I love that he tours the country and prophesies to each city and region. We need more geo-specific prophecy to build up the local church and fill it with vision and hope.
If you’re like me, honoring Kim Clement’s ministry is an opportunity to honor God in humility. My flesh rises up and wants to critique that which I don’t enjoy, and then my spirit responds by saying, “Oh, but the message sounds like Jesus!” And so I get the opportunity to make the choice to give greater heed to my spirit’s discernment than my flesh’s comfort.
